Two-Way Lane and Legend Syncing in ADO

We are continuing to strengthen our core product principle of flexibility by providing another avenue to organize and sync roadmaps with Azure DevOps. Today we are releasing a two-way ADO sync for custom dropdown fields mapping to Lanes and Legends in ProductPlan available to our our Professional and Enterprise users.

Two-Way ADO Lane and Legend Sync

You now have the ability to two-way sync your custom fields in ADO with your roadmap Lanes and Legends in ProductPlan. For example, once you’ve created custom dropdown fields in ADO for “Demo Lane Sync” and “Demo Legend Sync”, you can then map those fields to the Lane and Legend for your roadmap. In the screenshot below you will notice the double arrows denoting a two-way sync, allowing you to push changes either from ADO to ProductPlan, or from ProductPlan back to ADO.

After changes are made from your bars and containers, a red indicator will appear in ProductPlan where you can push those updates to ADO. This enhancement will mainly impact the Timeline and List views. The Table view may also show updated information, but updates made in the Table cannot be pushed to ADO at this time.

Other Enhancements:

The launch title is now available in the bar details when hovering over a bar in both Timeline and List views.
