ProductPlan was founded in 2013 by Jim Semick and Greg Goodman to solve a problem every product team knew: roadmaps lived in spreadsheets, strategy got lost in email, and alignment was a meeting, not a system.
Over a decade, we set the standard for enterprise roadmapping. Then we asked a harder question: what if the platform didn't just show the plan, but helped teams make the right one?
In 2026, we acquired Winware.ai and named 4x Founder Steven Cohn as ProductPlan’s new CEO. We united Winware’s AI-native customer and market intelligence with our roadmapping platform, launching the Product Intelligence Platform that helps teams uncover what to build, why it matters, and how to win.
